SOUND DESIGN // POST AUDIO
BIO
Hi, I’m Rhea, a sound designer and re-recording mixer who’s spent an unreasonable amount of time thinking about the emotional arc of a room tone.
My work spans everything from podcasts and social content to short documentaries and narrative films. Recent highlights include sound design and mix for The Traveler (premiered at the Cleveland International Film Festival), Beyoncé’s hair care brand Cécred (yes, I’m mentioning that early), and a behind-the-scenes spot for Lay’s featuring Keegan-Michael Key (matrix glasses were involved). I also recently wrapped on Good Energy, a short doc I’m excited about.
I have a particular love for ambiences, the kind of storytelling that lives in the details, and making dialogue sound like it wasn’t recorded in a wind tunnel. Most of my work lives in the world of branded content, podcasts, and docs, though I’m always game for the occasional cinematic detour.
This is the part where I subtly suggest you reach out without actually saying “reach out,” so... feel free to poke around, listen to a few things, and if something resonates, you know where to find me.
